Holidays

School is finished

Yes, it had to be one day. Here it is in late May. Heat, no air conditioning in classrooms and later the big storms ... Anyway for now it is not so hot.

As for the dance, (I have not seen a single boy on stage), Yarden repeats for two weeks now at home the song and movement, about a rose.

 The speeches were not too long.

Diplomas are awarded to top ten in each class. But if we count in Yarden's class, they were ... 11? Anyway we'll have good souvenirs.

It's the name of the seaside town near Vinh. We stoke around the annual 3 days outing of Nga's school.

Luckily it's only an hour and a half drive since we were 40 in a 20 seats bus.

Holiday at the sea is so tiring.

Barak

Barak is lucky to have a car and be able to go around wherever he wants whenever he wants. Here again we stoke around.

Shavuot

It's the ambassador's wife in Hanoi, who invited us. She organizes very well parties for children.

We got right to the little ambassador's speech, a little show of the ambassador's wife and their children about calcium,

a small buffet and activities for the children.

Finally they are quite numerous and Yarden, who likes to liven things up, made them all dance.

Before going, we could not help but test the great slides of the residence of apartment hotels where the ambassador lives and where nothing sticks out.

Halong Bay

Certainly we don't get tired of it. It's always so beautiful, especially with the sun.

This time finally with Gilad, but it was not planned ... In fact it was ok to go to Hanoi, but to return, no car before 3 days. We would not hang around in town.

The only problem is that since we did not have our passports, they were being visa extending, we could not sleep on the boat.

But Catba is nice in summer.

Many Vietnamese spend their holidays there and it's very lively at night.

In addition we were lucky because the captains of the boats began a strike on the very day of our return.

Dad and I made you tired eh. No I'm tired myself.

Before returning to the farm ... Is that you quickly get used to these things!

The rice

The big boss finally decided to make silage with rice straw instead of importing it. Not too early, they burn it anyway, not knowing what to do with it. They give some to the buffaloes but there is a lot of surplus.

So we accompanied Barak again to see how it went.

Meanwhile the school reopened for the summer. And it's very hot so there are not many children, but Yarden seems to like it. While the first day there were some tears, Kim was not there. Besides, she will not work this summer.

As for the afternoon, we go to the pool every day and I'm doing the lifeguard: the children of a Vietnamese ladies who works here came a few days. It's the third one that I fish. Anyway luckily we brought a few more pairs of swimming armbands.

Sometimes we garden,

and when the storm breaks, we wash in the rain.

The storm

Here is our first tropical storm; her name is Haima.

It finally turned into a tropical depression over us,  

but we had fun anyway imitating the frog and watering in the rain.

After the storm, life is back in our front door. This giant centipede, it was at least 30cm, could eat our frog that was about to feast with flying ants came by thousands along the wall to get rid of their wings after mating. As for the big green grasshopper ...

 

What's new in the farm? They ended up selling all the calves

and they are now mounting the second milking parlor which all parts, even the smallest screw, come from Israel with their escorts as Hen ...

Right now it's the pineapple season. On the side of the road while returning from Vinh.

And on the way to school, a logical conversation:
Me: "look at the mountain reflected in water, it's pretty, it's like a mirror."

After thinking for a moment, Yarden: "mom, we should cut the mountain to put it into the water!"
Me: "Why?"
Yarden: "because it's pretty."

The Chinese delegation

They were about ten and came to realize the project and see the new Afimilk's technologies. The company has already a market in China at a dairy farmer who has just 7,000 cows ... but maybe they will buy all the lot, including the experts ...

It's that the mission of the company is not only to sell the milking machines but also to train the staff in the entire process, from the feed's cultivation to the glass of milk, as Ramy, the project manager, would say,: "from grass to glass".
As for me, Nga and Luan, Rami's secretary, asked me to take some pictures of the visit, telling them I was a photographer ...

Visas for China

It takes four days. So we went to Hanoi Yarden and me.

Finally we really got busy in the meantime.

We took the opportunity to test some places.

First, the famous water puppet theater. It lasts one hour, very pretty and Yarden, it's her first theater, didn't take her eyes off the scene.

The next day the Vincom Tower, a luxury shopping center with 5 floors on top of which they set up a play area.

The Museum of Ethnology, where they recreated the houses of the different ethnicities.

Finally Tam Coc, Halong Bay on the land, a one day trip with two hours by boat on the river among the rice fields.

And here we go again. Gilad: « Yarden I can't see where I go! » Yarden: " But don't you see on the map? We are going there!”
